The origins of
Leonel® Terre Rouge tobaccos
The name “Terre Rouge” calls to mind the red-brown Nicaraguan soil in which strong tobaccos, characteristic for Nicaragua, are cultivated. These tobaccos are used for the making of Leonel® Terre Rouge.
Nicaraguan tobaccos, mostly Ligero leaves from the upper part of the tobacco plant, are used in the filler. The wrapper of this premium cigar, Leonel® Terre Rouge, is a fine, dark brown Cuban-Seed tobacco also cultivated in Nicaragua.
